The McHenry High Warriors of Coach Ken Ludwig will take to the hardwood for the next three weekends, playing a conference game on Friday and a non- conference game on Saturday night. Tonight the Warriors host Fox Valley foe the Cary Grove Trojans. The Trojans of Jim Condill are the hard luck team of the area. They have lost four games by a margin of 14 pts., and their only win in the Fox Valley is a 80 to 69 victory over Woodstock. The Streaks later avenged that loss for their first win in the Wheeling tourney. The Trojans have the conference's leading scorer in Greg Meyer a 6V' guard and forward. The Cary ace is averaging 25 pts. per game in conference play, and will be the man the Warriors must stop tonight. Rounding out the starting team for the Trojans are, seniors Jim Ludin and John Wasiak, junior Neil Britt the quar­ terback of the Trojan football team, and sophomore Neil Brennan. The Warriors after getting on the winning rack in Fox Valley play last week at Woodstock, cannot take-the Trojans too lightly. They can explode any minute and the Warriors will have to be at their best tonight. Tomorrow night Coach Ken Ludwig will meet an old foe from the North Subur­ ban. "Moe Tharp" formerly of Zion is the coach of the Fremd Vikings. Fremd is in a rebuilding year, but nevertheless the veteran coach "Moe" has no plans to lay down and concede defeat.
