It offers an .op portunity to look at- the personalities in the mem bership of McHenry's F u t u r e F a r m e r organization. , TEN YEARS AGO (Taken from the files of February 27, 1970) A cooperative parish in volving the United Methodist churches of Mount Hope, Ringwood and Spring Grove will begin March 1 under the pastoral leadership of Willis H. Walker. It is hoped that by working together a more effective, long term ministry and more economical use of funds may be possible. Each church will retain its own individual identity and yet be free to participate in joint ventures such as steward ship, evangelism, missions, youth work, fellowship meeting and special services of worship. On the opening day of filing for vacancies to be filled on the two McHenry school boards of education, seven candidates presented petitions. Home prices on the average have been at a stand still during the last year, but please do not expect this phenomenon to last much longer. Most real estate experts are predicting interest rates to go down only slightly during the summer and fall months. Combined with the current cut-back in new home building and inflation running at 13% annually, home prices will ex plode. There will be a shor tage of homes for the built up demand created in 1979. This is the reason we say 'There will never be a better time to buy a home than right now." We have a number of homes available for the first time home buyer, as well as an excellent selection of second homes and waterfront property. Why not come in and see your full service broker.
