SILVER ANNIVERSARY The silver anniversary celebration in our village, set for Aug. 16, is in full swing, and there are several things residents can do to help. Anyone having a copy of a newspaper from April of 1955, with an article or, better yet, a headline about the incorporation, is asked to please contact Joanne Weisenberger right away. Also, anyone knowing the whereabouts of any former village board members, or former Little Miss Mc­ Cullom Lake winners, should let Joanne know. Finally, and most im­ portantly, plan to attend the next meeting to organize the all-day celebration. It will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the beach house. Anyone with ideas, or just willing to work on this village project is urged to attend. Regu la r mon th ly meetings, the third Wed­ nesday of every month, will be held until the time of the celebration. EASTER EVENTS Easter is on its way, and the Beach Gals are getting ready for their annual Easter egg hunt, Easter carnival, and little mim McCullom Lake contest, to be held this year on Satur­ day, April 5. Entries for the Little Miss McCullom Lake contest have opened, and 5006 Maple Hill drive, or 2722 N. Orchard, are the addresses, to sign up your little princess. There is a small fee in­ volved, and a form that must be signed by one "of the child's parents, so your daughter cannot register herself. Entries will be open until the week before the contest. To be eligible to be crowned Little Miss Mc­ Cullom Lake, a girl must be between the ages of 4 and 8 on April 6,1960, and must be a resident of the Village of McCullom Lake.
