GOD BLESS Morltini Eighth Grade Class Aids Recycling Students, faculty, and parents of Montini school will be on hand Saturday, Mairch 15, at the McHenry Market place, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to,t receive properly prepared material for recycling. By recycling materials through this or any other recycling effort one-is saying natural resources-such as wood, steel, petroleum, glass, tin, and aluminum; also saving precious space in the diminishing number of existing landfills, and helping the groups working on the drives. Montini students will use the money earned at this drive to help pay for their class trip in May and to provide a class gift to the school when they graduate. The money earned by the McHenry County Defenders is used to sponsor the many programs (solar, gravel, land use, etc.) and services ( s p e a k e r s b u r e a u . scholarships, literature, etc.) all provided free to the public. Recycling has become a way of life for some our our county's citizens, but they are still only a small per­ centage of the population. It is amazing how many people are not aware that these drives exist The Defenders help those who are not among the regular recyclers to help spread the word., Material is available that could be passed out in individual neighborhoods by anyone interested and willing to do so.
