JOSEPH WEBER A plumber by trade, Joseph Weber was born on a farm which lay between Griswold and Lily lakes. He was about 8 years old when the family moved to Lake street, on the east side of the Fox river. "Chuck Comiskey had a summer house around there," Weber said, "and the elder Comiskey used to bring the White Sox out to play the McHenry team." "I was just a kid then, I had to sneak in," he added. Joseph Weber started in the plumbing trade at age 14. He, and Ernie Buck, the son-in-law of Steven H. Freund, used to load all the tools into a two-wheeled cart which was drawn by two hired horses. "I worked with Buck for 16 years until the Depression came and I was out of a job," he recalled. "The only thing to do was go into business for myself," he said. Weber stayed in the plumbing industry for more than 30 years. The McHenry Plaindealer has "been around probably since it started" Weber said. "My folks had it on the farm." Plaintiff, DALE L. How do the "experts" make their long-range weather forecasts? Weather forecasters study a number of things in determining what the weather will# be in a parti cular future period.
