MARGARET RUTH RUPP ' Mrs. Margaret Ruth Rupp, 62. 4601 Hilltop drive, Wonder Lake, died Tuesday, April 29, ^t McHenry hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Ohio, to William and Hulda (Rode) Selgert. Mrs. Rupp was married to Christian Rupp in Chicago, in 1950. She was a retired machine operator for Illinois Coil Springs. McHenry. Survivors include her husband. Christian of Wonder Lake; three brothers. Rudy and Alfred Selgert, both of Michigan and Herman Selgert of Grayslake. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation was scheduled from l to 9 p. m. Thursday at Freund funeral home, Wonder Lake. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a m. in the funeral home with Pastor Richard N. Wright of the Wonder Lake Bible church officiating, and burial at Woodland cemetery, McHenry. Memorials are requested to the Heart fund. She was 65 years old, born May 6, 1914 in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Larsen) Borchers. Mrs. Sellek was married Oct. 14, 1933, in Chicago, to Melville J. Sellek, who survives. The funeral was held Monday, April 28, at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Palm Desert, Calif. Mr. Barton is survived by his wife Marie; a daughter, Barbara Jean McBean of Wisconsin, and two grand children. Sunday, May 4, at 8 a.m. the McHenry Jaycees will sponsor a 6.2-mile road race for the benefit of Camp New Hope, Jhe race will start and finish from the West campus high school parking lot. Wilmot road, McHenry, with a carton of cigarettes. McHenry County Sheriff's police arrested Michael Stefka, 17, of 5713 Meadow Hill, McHenry, after he was detained by the manager of the store. Someone broke into a home belonging to Eugene Kamins, at 3105 River Park, McHenry, and stole a stereo unit with speakers and a gold wedding band. A portable television Sfet, a watch, an alarm clocK and two German beer steins were stolen from the home of Barbara Wahl, at 2311 N. Orchard Beach, McHenry. Anthony DeAngelo, of 3601 Route 31, McHenry, reported the theft of an all-terrain vehicle, a battery charger, a stop watch, a portable radio, and the snow plow lights and turn signals from a pickup truck, from his farm Tuesday. Arthur Frenssen, of 4704 W. Wonder Lake drive, Wonder Lake, called the Sheriff's police when he found that someone had forced open the door of his house and stole two cameras, a watch and a knife. Fine Arts Presents Talent Show, Lunch The Woodstock Fine Arts association will present a talent show with a small admission fee, followed by a "build your own" salad luncheon May at 10 a.m. at the Woodstock Opera House for the benefit of the association's scholarship program. JThe scholarship program began last year with Kathy Foresman from Marian Central high school and Paige Kurtz from Woodstock high school being the first recipients. It has been ex panded this year to include the Crystal Lake Central and South high schools. Through this talent show, and other such endeavors, it is hoped to expand the program even further in the future. The talent show per formers are members of the WFAA and will present a wide variety of en tertainment ranging from blue grass to show tunes to the classics.
