Nifie McHenry residents were taken into custody by McHenry police after an early morning party erupted into an early morning fight between police and residents last Saturday. According to McHenry Police Chief George R. Pasenelli, the police received numerous calls concerning a "noisy and rowdy party" at 3924 W. Elm street in McHenry. At about 3:30 a.m., police went to the residence and shortly afterward the fight started. Mark Koch, 19, of 3924 W. Elm street, McHenry; and Thomas V. Damiano, 20, of 2806 Beach View, McHenry; were each arrested and charged with aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and purchase and ac­ ceptance of liquor by a minor. - Daniel Koch, 23, of 1501 N. Flower,/ McHenry, was arrested for aggravated battery and disorderly conduct. Paul "L. Wheaton, 18, of 1301 N. Richmond road, McHenry ; John. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake, was com­ missioned a second lieutenant and awarded a bachelor of science degree May 28 upon graduation from the U.S. Air Force academy, Colorado Springs. Lieutenant Goc, who majored in management, has been selected for pilot training at Columbus Air Force base. Miss. More than 72 percent of the 900 members of this year's graduating class will go to pilot or navigator training.
