For years this was talk and now ground has been broken and the foundation is being laid. Those who live near the village property on Channel Beach drive will be able to watch the progress. The company doing the construction work got started sooner than we expected, we were planning to hold a ground breaking ceremony, but since this didn't happen, when the building is finished watch for the village to hold a dedication ceremony. We are proud of the progress our small village has been making. The past few years have seen the village double in population and annex several new subdivisions. Although building is practically at a standstill now, as it is all over. But wfeen this current- situation is resolved and construction starts up again watch for Sunnyside to continue to grow. We are all hoping this is going to happen in the near future.
