Delightful dishes which enhance get-togethers At this summer's dish-to-pass church picnic, club get- together, block party or family reunion, bring a main dish or dessert that people won't pass up. Substitute for the traditional "chicken and meatloaf, cake and pie" fare, two dishes that are as colorful and tasty as they are easy to carry to the picnic in their own fabric carriers. Baked Ham and Cheese Pie is almost a meal in itself, chock- full of vegetables and ham in a simple cheddar cheese sauce. Instead of a pasty topping, let the color of the meat and vege tables show-through the middle of a ring of refrigerated crescent rolls arranged around the cas serole's outer edge. For dessert, offer a fruit crisp that's made with summer's fresh fruits. Add raisins and top with brown sugar, cinnamon and pecan halves. Serve it warm or cold . . . either way, it's a special treat. And, for carrying jrour goodies to the picnict Corning offers special fabric cozies with heat-resistant glass casseroles. The quilte3""carriers snap snugly around the casseroles, keeping the food hot or cold for up to three hours while on its way to the picnic or party.
