Division of Vocational Rehabilitation as a coun­ selor, and later with an Occupational Development center in Blooming ton as program director and safety officer. To obtain his Master's degree in Communications, he returned to Illinois State university where his training included special work in orthotics and prothesies. While attending school he worked part-time as a teaching assistant. - Dominic comes to the Easter Seal society as an eight-year veteran of Pioneer center, McHenry. During that time, he served as vocational rehabilitation counse lo r , p rog rams manager and director of adult services. A certified social worker and teacher, Dominic is also a member of the National Rehabilitation association, I l l i no i s Rehab i l i t a t i on association, and National Rehab i l i t a t i on Ad­ ministrators association. In his free time, he is a lecture- commentator for Saint Mary's Catholic church, Woodstock, and the com­ mittee chairman for Troop 776 of the Boy Scouts of America. The Dominies have two sons, Joe, 15, a student at Woodstock high school, and Tony, 12, a student at Saint Mary's school, Woodstock. Dominic states: "I look forward to my association with the Easter Seal society as an opportunity to continue the fine work of the previous executive director, Cheryl Van Zandt, and to provide this agency with continued growth and development." The Easter Seal society has been serving McHenry county for the past 30 years at the therapy center in Woods tock . Se rv i ce s provided by the 15-member staff include speech and language therapy, speech and language pre-school, physical therapy, oc­ cupa t iona l t he rapy , equipment loan pool, r ehab i l i t a t i on g roups and public education. The center is a non-profit corporation and is governed by a voluntary board of directors and board of advisors. $3,230 Prijze Money In Tractor Pulling In addition to $3,230 in prize money being offered in ihe tractor pulling com­ petition at the McHenry County fair,> nine trophies have been donated to be given first prize winners. Everett Hunter, one of the superintendents, said competition will be held among garden tractors Saturday, Aug. 2, and among farm tractors and antique tractors respectively Sun­ day, Aug. 3. This represents a change from last year in that the antique tractor competition was held on the Saturday of the fair. Nine first place trophies are being furnished for antique,and farm class competition. Details on entering, weighing and other contest information may be obtained at the McHenry County fair office oii the fairgrounds in Building D.
