LONG WEEKEND The long Labor Day weekend found Walt and Doris Low, Bob and Sue Low, Bob and Gayle Laursen, Ray and Marge Moore traveling to Montello for a mini-vacation. Alice Mae and Walt Wilcox joined them on Saturday. There wasn't much fishing as it rained every morning so cards were enjoyed in the screen-house--the area was invaded by mosquitos. Some of the folks went to Harrisville Bay on Sunday and they saw several families from the McHenry area there to enjoy the festivities. Others of the group enjoyed garage sales and flea markets and managed to find some bargains. Others kept the camp fires burning. Bob and Sue, Walt and Alice Mae returned home on Monday with the Laursens, Moores and Walt Lows returning early Tuesday after a mediocre weekend. Others taking advantage of the long weekend were Art, Katy and Patty Christopher who spent the time with Dave Christopher at Farmington. Saturday they celebrated Patty, Dave and Kathy's birthdays.
