People who think of organ music as "church and dull" are amazed at Richar,d Morris* spectacular keyboard technique, and Martin Berinbaum's bravura trumpet playing spins out lyrical melodic sounds as well as stirring marches. When the Crystal Lake Community Concerts season opens in November, these two artists will be the first to appear. Memberships in this season's series are now being sold by volilnteers in McHenry county. The series will include, as well as "Toccatas and Flourishes'.',, .the Aspen Soloists,. the Young Americans, and Wilson and Allen, flute and harp team. Morris and Berinbaum have appeared on NBC's "Today" show many times, appeared at Washington's Kennedy center at an inaugural concert honoring President Carter, have recorded for Flavier records, and play a recital every third day of the con cert season. They play music that ranges from the early six teenth century to the con temporary. An integral part of their performances is the informal - sometimes outrageous - dialogue which introduces and comments on their selections. All four concerts will be presented at Crystal Lake South high school, 1200 S. McHenry avenue, Crystal Lake: For information about concerts or memberships, call 459-3323.
