A quick look at the calendar tells us that the Fall season officially began on Sept. 22. Already we are in a hurry to do the things we can't do when the weather gets cold, snowy or icy. Family outings are par ticularly enjoyable in the cool, breezy Fall weather. As you leave to meet family or friends for outdoor ac tivities, please remember to drive with care. When you're behind the wheel, keep your mind on the road. Your thoughts might be on a last-minute picnic, camping or hiking trip, but getting there and back safely is vitally important. If jogging or bicycle riding is part of your individual exercise program, watch for other vehicles and pedestrians in the street and at intersections. Many of you will be traveling to football games this Fall. Again, be careful going to and from the games. Extra celebrating can result in carelessness on our high ways. y Another sign of Fall is school buses and additional traffic in school areas. Observe the rules of the road and stop for school buses when their red lights are flashing.
