Oct. 24,31 & Nov. 7,1980) THE LAW FIRM OF Car Snaps Power Pole A McHenry man was ticketed by Sheriff's police after the car he was driving snapped a power pole near the intersection of McCullom Lake and Ringwood roads. Michael F. O'Brien, of 3617 Elmshire, McHenry, told police he was not thinking about the stop at the in­ tersection until he saw the sign. He went on to say he locked his brakes and the car slid sideways through the intersection and struck the pole, coming to rest in a field. O'Brien was cited for disobeying a stop sign. The collision occurred at 12:10 a.m. Nov. 3. Steven R Ziesk, of 2616 Emerald, McHenry, was ticketed for failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle on Nov. 3. A witness told police the Ziesk vehicle rounded a curve on River road, struck a parked car and left the scene. The parked car was registered to William A. Boettcher. of 1511 W. Pine, McHenry. When police spoke with ^Ziesk later, he said he swerved to avoid an on­ coming vehicle that crossed the center line. The accident occurred at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 3. Drake A. Fair, of 905 S. Sauk. McHenry, was ticketed by McHenry police after he reportedly made a left turn in front of another auto at the intersection of Elm and Green streets last Monday. Fair told police he did not see the other car until the collision. The driver of the other car was Susan F. Henderlight, 4817 Rose court, Crystal Lake. Otto R.
