A pizza party at the home of their leader, Mrs. Hon- ning, was a highlight for the Cadettes in Troop No. 41. As a Community Service project, the girls made little drums from paper rolls and filled them with candy. These were distributed at Carestoel Professional Care center to the mutual en joyment of the girls and the residents. For those who wish to celebrate the Chinese New Year but have less time to prepare elaborate meals, the Beef With Broccoii featured here is one extmipie of a classic Chinese dish which is a perfect solution to the no time-to-cook dilemma because most erf the slicing and preparation of ingredients can be completed in advance. Actual cooking time is only six minutes. The tasty meat and vegetable combination, together with rice, is a completely well-balanced meal, made in a hurry. The Beef With Broccoli is made with peanut oil, which is similar to authentic oils used in China. Peanut oil is recommended by many professional cooks for its lightness, which enhances the flavor of food. This quality makes it ideal for preparing delicate Chinese foods.
