About 85 persons run the ranch, with its cattle, woods, orange groves, wild pigs and ton and alligators. The first week in Florida was the time of the Florida freeze, so there were some chilly nights. Sweaters were worn on Friday as they watched the graduation of naval recruits at the Naval base. Lata* on our party went to the Harry P Leu Gardens, a 47 acre botannical garden on Lake Rowene. The next exciting show on the travelers' agenda was a visit to Sea World, where they watched S ha moo the Killer Whale and Shark Encounter. Part of the thrill was walking through a tunnel, while live sharks swam overhead. The rest of the week was spent in do-your-own-thing activities On Saturday. Jan. 17, the first day of the Daytona "500" trials, our party watched four cars run. The Kennedy Space center was really an unbelievable place. The security was very strict. The size of the tractor used to move the missiles amazed Walter. Saturday the 3lst, was a full day spent at the Wonderful World of Walt Disney. A tram was taken to the admission gate and then the mono-rail took them to the hotel. A gorgeous parade held in the evening, with in Sea World, where they ate Polynesian style and watched the colorful flame dancers in their native costumes. Wednesday.
