Deaths JANE EELE8 Jane C. Eeles, 67, of McHenry, died Saturday, Feb. 14. She was taken ill while driving, which resulted in an automobile accident in Des Plaines. Mrs. Eeles was bom June 15, 1913, in Chicago, to An­ thony and Bess (Hood) Comer. She was a resident of the area for 12 years, formerly" of Norwood Pari:: belonged to the First United Methodist church; was an active hospital auxiliary member over 10 years ; past president of the PTA tor Taft high school, Chicago; and a member of the Whispering Oaks Homeowners Assn. Mrs. Eeles is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) Burgess of Crystal Lake; a son Kenneth of Arlington Heights; six grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Lavender, Kalamazoo, Mich. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m., in the George H. Jus ten It Son funeral home, with the Reverend Ralph Smith of First United Methodist church officiating and irivate inurnment. risitation was scheduled for Tuesday after 5 p.m. at the funeral home. IS, 1903, the son of Robert and Lottie (Harris) Grier. Mrv Grier lived in McHenry about 10 years, having come from Milwaukee. He was a retired machinist for Allis Chalmers in West Allis, Wis. Survivors include his wife Dorothy, nee Bacon; one daughter, Mrs. Ken (Janet) Riehle of Arlington Heights; four granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Clare De Weese of Moberiy, Mo. Private graveside services were scheduled at Wisconsin Memorial Park cemetery, Brookfield, Wis. and there was no visitation at the Peter M. J us ten & Son funeral home. ALL1E FERGUSON Allie E. Ferguson, 2210 S. Colby drive, McHenry, died Friday, Feb. 13, at Lutheran General hospital, Park Ridge, 111. He was 81 years old, born in Belvidere, 111. Jan. 23, 1900, the son of Martin and Liza Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson lived in McHenry 25 years, having come from Chicago. He was a retired manager of a restaurant and lounge in Chicago. On June 12, 1937, in BARBARA ROMADKA Barbara R. Romadka, 77, 5209 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake, {lied Friday, Feb. 13, in McHenry hospital. She was bom Nov. 16, 1903, in Budapest, Hungary, to.. John and Barbara (Merle) Remi Mrs. Romadka was 8 year resident of Wonder Lake, formerly of the nor-, thwest side of Chicago; had been a supervisor for the P. Plibrico Brick Co. of Chicago for 25 years; and was in­ strumental in starting the Wonder Lake Ski club. She is survived by her husband Fred, whom she married May 26, 1934, in Waukegan; a stepson, Robert of Bellwood, 111.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Grace Lan- drath, Union Grove, Wis., Mrs. Betty Kosloff, Chicago and Mrs. Clara Sanka, Alto- Loma, Calif; three brothers, James, St. George, Utah, John, Flat Rock, 111. and William, Salem, Wis. Visitation was held Monday after 3 p.m., until timcTof service at 8:30 p.m., in the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with Fr. Dorrance Tranel of Christ the King Catholic church officiating. Inurnment was private Memorials may be made to the Wonder Lake Rescue squad, Paramedic service. MARTHA FREUND Martha H. Freund, 85,2018 W. Church street, McHenry, was pronounced dead Thursday, Feb. 12, at M c H e n r y h o s p i t a l emergency room. She was bom July 18, 1895, in the Johnsburg-McHenry area, to Martin and Helen May. A lifetime, resident, Mrs. Freund was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church; belonged to the Blessed Virgin sodality; and had worked at the Wood­ stock Die Casting, Auto-Lite division for several years. Survivors include a son-in- law, Paul Pitzen of John- sburg; a daughter-in-law, Clara Freund of McHenry; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Anthony (Tony* Freund and Miss Catherine Freund, both of Johns burg. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Gladys Freund and Virginia Pitzen; and a son, Leroy Freund. Visitation was held Sunday afternoon and evening in the George R. Justen & Son funeral home with a Rosary recited at 4 and 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection was conducted Monday by Fr. Leo Bartel of St. John's and interment followed in St. Mary's cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Johnsburg Rescue squad or Masses would be appreciated. KLONTZ MEMORIAL A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday, Feb. 22, at the First United Methodist church for Dr. Clayton W. Klontz. Dr. Klontz died Feb. 8, after completing a 50-year career as a practicing physician. Forty of those years he cared for the medical needs of McHenry area residents. GILES KALVELAGE Giles M. Kalvelage, 4712 Oakwood drive, McHenry, died Sunday, Feb. 15, at McHenry hospital. He was 50 years old, bora Nov. 15, 1930, in Racine, Wis. to Francis and Anna (Paquett) Kalvelage. <- Mr; Kalvelage lived in McHenry nine months and was formerly of Crystal Lake. He was a supervisor for Illinois Bell Telephone Co., working out of Morton Grove and later Barrington, and belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include his wife, Novella M. (Flowers) Kalvelage; one son, Giles M. Kalvelage, II; four brothers, Bernard, Waukesha, Wis.; Alvin, Wonder Lake; William, Park Forest and Richard, Hickory Hills; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Frances) Newell, Danville, 111.; Arline Kalvelage, Chicago and Mrs. Charles (Mary) Mahl, Chicago. A funeral Mass will be conducted Thursday, 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic church, McHenry, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Peter M. He was bora May 12, 1911, in Evanston, 111. the son of • Frank and Susan (Majerus) Waterloo. Mr. Waterloo was a member, 4th degree, of the Knights of Columbus Council 1286, McHenry. On June 17, 1939, in Evanston, he married Mary Ellen Dolan who survives. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John (Barbara) Baker and Mrs. Kathleen Pait, both of Wonder Lake and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Napolean and a sister Josephine Visitation was cheduled for Tuesday, from 3 .to 9 p.m., at the Freund funeral home, Wonder Lake. A funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic church, Wonder Lake, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Memorials would be ap­ preciated to the McHenry Cancer Society, the Wonder Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue squad, or the church. WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM Gov. James R.
