The Hurricanes dropped their overall record 12-9 overall, however , on Saturday after losing to Rockford Boylan, 69-56. The Hurricanes outscored St. Eds, 10-7 in the first quarter, but tallied 29 points to their opponents' 12 in the second period to post a 39-19 halftime lead. The Green Wave took control in period three and trimmed the Marian , lead to 48-38 entering the final period. The fourth quarter was won by St. Edwards, 16- Tankers Take Dive The Warrior tankers ended their regular season at Zion in the NISI In­ vitational and finished sixth out of seven teams entered in the varsity competition. Gathering only 71 points, McHenry finished ahead of only Dundee (15) and behind first place Stevenson, and Libertyville, 277, Zion- Benton, 154, Lake Forest, 142, and Woodstock, 130.
