Woodland drive, McHenry died Monday, March 16 at McHenry hospital. He was 82 years old, born in Poland Sept. 6, 1898. Mr. Jarosinski lived in McHenry about 25 years, having come from Chicago. He was a retired milkman for the Pure Farm Dairy, Chicago and had been a member of Polish National union. Survivors are his wife Angeline (Sliwinski) Jarosinski; one son, Richard M. of McHenry ; two grand children, Sandy and Michael Jarosinski; one- sister, Stephanie Kukielka of Chicago and one brother in Poland. A funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Francis Polish National Catholic church, McHenry and burial will be in Ringwood cemetery, Ringwood. Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home CHESTER BRISSMAN Chester Brissman, 77, father of Mrs. Glen (Janet) Anderson of McHenry, died unexpectedly at his home in East Moline, 111. In addition to Mrs. An derson, Mr. Brissman is survived by his wife and a son Robert of East Moline. Visitation was held Sunday at Esterdahl funeral home, East Moline, and burial was Monday. GEORGE GOETSCHEL Dr. George A Goetschel, 90, of Berwyn, 111., well known in McHenry, died Thursday, March 12 at Suburban hospital, Hinsdale. He was born Aug. 10, 1890 in Chicago to John C. and Ella (Tamm) Goetschel. Dr Goetschel is survived by two sons. Dr. George E. and Dr. John C.; a brother John C. Goetschel and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, 10 a.m., at the H. Marik Sons funeral home, Berwyn. Interment was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 2 to 10 p.m. ALBERT NELSON Albert T Nelson, 87, 1400 Eastwood lane, McHenry, died Thursday, March 12 in McHenry hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1893 in Ute, Iowa. Mr Nelson was a two-year resident of McHenry, for merly of River Forest, 111.; had been affiliated with St. Patrick's Catholic church and was a salesman for Dun & Bradstreet for many years. A WWI Navy veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 491 * and belonged to the Veterans of U.S. American Barracks 1315. Survivors include his wife Helen, nee Henry, whom he married in Chicago Sept. 25, 1929; a daughter, Mrs William A. (Wynne) Roy of McHenry; two grand children and two sisters His parents and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Along with all that is new in and around town, fairgoers will be greeted with an op portunity to purchase "shades of McHenrv past". The parking meters, which have just been removed from the business streets, and the old traffic signals which have been recently replaced, will be available at the city's booth. Both are in limited quantity and very much in demand as collector's items or con versation pieces for casual interior decorating schemes. The Chamber of Commerce booth will have on display just one example of what can be fashioned from a parking meter. An endless list of items, as well as information on numerous products and services available throughout the McHenry area, will be at the fair. The eighth annual Trade fair will be at Parkland school, located at Route 120 and Ringwood road. A funeral blessing was held Monday at 10 a m in the funeral home and interment followed in Queen of Heaven cemetery. Memorials are requested to St. Patrick's church. PAUL ADAMS Paul M. Adams, 71, of George street, Richmond, died Thursday morning, March 12. at St. Mary's Medical center. Racine, Wis. He was bom July 17,1909, in Johnsburg, the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Schaefer) Adams. v -A self-employed painter and decorator over Jftyears, Mr. Adams retired one year ago. He was a WWII veteran serving with the Army and was a member of Paul C.Hoffman American Legion Post 253, Richmond; Grace Lutheran church, Rich mond; Germania Lodge No. 182 AF&AM. Chicago and a charter member of Rich mond Lyons club. He also served on the Richmond high school board and the Village board On July 12, 1947, in Woodstock, Mr. Adams married Lillian Hoha who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Mitch of Rich mond and Bert of Spring Grove; and five grand children. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Vi Pester and Mrs. Julia Coulamn, both of Richmand and Mrs. Lil Shattuck of Grayslake; and one brother, Peter of McHenry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alvera Hosch. Funeral services were Saturday, 11 a.m., at Grace Lutheran church, Rich mond, with interment in the Richmond cemetery. Visitation was at the Ehorn- Adams funeral home, Rich mond. Memorials may be made in his name to Grace Lutheran church. It will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. (please note the shorter hours now that the drives are held twice a month). Montini eighth graders, parents and faculty will be on hand to work along with the McHenry County Defenders to help unload cars, provide baling twine to those who desire it and prepare the recyclable materials for the next step toward being made into useful products again. Bundled newspapers, corrugated cardboard, magazines, clean glass bottles and jars, flattened all-steel cans, and all- aluminum products are accepted for recycling. Recyclers are reminded that a pay-back program for all-aluminum cans was begun on March 7 and will be in effect at the drive held on the first Saturday of each month. Over 2,000 lbs. of aluminum cans were brought to the drive by those wishing to participate in the pay-back program and another 54 lbs. of aluminum McHENRY OPTICIRNS products were donated to the groups working on the drive. In addition, ap proximately 13 tons of newspaper, 25 gallons of used motor oil, 3 tons of glass and 1,000 lbs. of steel cans were dropped off for recycling March 7.
