They included the reception for Bishop Jesse DeWitt which was held Sunday. Mar 22; the annual U.M.W. Spring Rummage sale in early April; the West Fest Apr 24 and 25; and the Mother-Daughter Banquet May 19 * So far, no definite date has been set for the start of the Craft group to make items for the annual Fall Bazaar Anne Demke will be the hostess when the group meets for the meeting Tuesday. Guests and newcomers are always welcome Lent is here, Easter will be coming soon (April 19) and the next plan for FISH is to provide Easter baskets for needy folks Non-perishable food items may be delivered to St. Patrick's church, on the landing to the basement hall, west side entrance, all day Saturday, April 11, and Palm Sunday, April 12, before and after the Masses, until 11:30 a m Baskets will be packed and delivered Sunday, April 12 in the early afternoon. If you have food to offer for the FISH Pantry, or for the Easter baskets, before the above dates, please call FISH at 385-0258. If more convenient, a check, money order, or certificate from a supermarket may be sent to FISH, P.O. Box 282, McHenry, 111., 60050. These are used for perishable items, meats, fruits, vegetables and breads. Keep in mind, too, some special little Easter items for Senior Citizens. To fill some requests for furniture, there is need for a metal bed frame, double bed size, washer and dryer, 30" gas range, man's and w o m a n ' s d r e s s e r s , refrigerator, freezer (for the u p c o m i n g p r e s e r v i n g season), double and twin size bed sheets, pillow cases, living room lamp, sturdy high chair, and a small sofa. All should be in clean, usable condition. Maybe the various suggestions and regulations for Lent are not imposed upon everyone - but this is a way to do your share by helping others! FISH is happy when folks remember it and the elderly, who are often alone, as well as those family folks in need. Many families FISH has helped, return the kindnesses to them, when their own conditions improve. For any further in­ formation, call FISH at 385- 0258.
