Iroquois trail, McHenry, died Monday, May 18, at McHenry hospital. He was bom Oct. 30,1923, in Ohio, to Anthony and Angela (Kushaj) Piatek. A 20-year resident of McHenry, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg; worked at Deltro Fluid Products, Bellwood, four years; had been an em­ ployee of International Register Co., Spring Grove; and the Union Special, Huntley. Survivors are a daughter Cathy Piatek, a son Eric, and one grandchild, all of McHenry. Mr. Piatek was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 10 a.m., at St. John's, with Father Rauen officiating, and interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home. Memorial Masses and donations to the Johnsburg Rescue squad would be appreciated. MARY LEWCHUK Mary Ella Lewchuk of Wonder Lake died Sunday, May 17, at McHenry hospital. She was 88 years old, born Dec. 3, 1892, in Russia. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mae Zadeikis of Wonder Lake and Mrs. Anne Viola of Cicero, III.; two sons, John of California and Nicholas of Maryland; eight grand­ children; 10 great­ grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband June 15, 1963; her parents and three brothers. Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 11 a m to 9 p.m., at the Kappa funeral home, 2321 W. Chicago avenue, Chicago. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Holy Resurection Russion Or­ thodox Cathedral, with the Rev. Father Demhuk of­ ficiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery, Elm- wood, 111. Memorials may be made to the Wonder Lake, Volunteer Fire and Rescue squad. Arrangements were handled by the Freund funeral home, Wonder Lake. CARMEN ANTDN80N Carmen Marie (Freund) Antonson, 64, died Sunday, May 17, in Larkspur, Colo. She was married to Leonard Antonson, who survives. Other survivors are three sons, Richard, Tom and Mike; six grand­ children; a brother Richard Freund and a sister, Mrs. Berdyne (Margaret) Stewart, both of McHenry. Mrs. Antonson was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Freund Berkley, in August, 1960; and her father, Nicholas N. Freund, in 1947. Memorials to the Heart fund, or Masses, would be appreciated. MICHAEL ALBANESE Michael J. Albanese, 69, of Fox Lake, died Saturday, May 16, at McHenry hospital. He was born July 24, 1911, in Chicago. A member of St. Peter's Catholic church, Antioch, Mr. Albanese had been an area resident for the past eight years, formerly of Chicago. He was founder and chairman of the board for Allied Dye Castings Corp., McHenry, from 1966, until the time of his death. Survivors are his wife Clara, Fox Lake; two sons, Charles, Spring Grove and Michael, Arlington Heights; one brother, Frank Albanese, McHenry; two sisters. Prudence Grabovy, Crystal Lake and Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Pielyscalzi; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be conducted Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Peter's and in­ terment will follow in the local cemetery. Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, from 12 to 9 p.m., at the K. K. Hamsher funeral home, Fox Lake Masses in Mr. Albanese's name would be appreciated to the church. CATHERINE WATSON Catherine Watson, 77, a resident of Fox Lake over 40 years, formerly of Chicago, died Thursday, May 14, at McHenry hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1903, in Ireland. A long-time member of St. Peter's Catholic church. Spring Grove, she also belonged to the Fox Lake Woman's club. Mrs. Watson is survived by a son Patrick Watson. McHenry; a daughter, Mrs. W i l l i a m ( M a r g i e ) Margeson, West Dundee; o n e , g r a n d d a u g h t e r , Christine Marie Watson; two sisters, Helen Ryder, Fin- dley, Ohio and Bridgid Conway, Ireland. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis J. Watson, Feb. 8, 1981; a sister, Nora Kelly; and three brothers, Martin, Patrick and Thomas Malone. A funeral - Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Bede's Catholic church. Arrangements were handled by K. K. Hamsher funeral home, Fox Lake. Cook brr»ccoli according to package directions; drain and keep warm. Meanwhile, melt butter in a I-quart saucepan. Stir in flour, salt and mustard until smooth. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stir­ ring constantly, until thickened. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheese just until melted. (Do not boil.)
