The course would be most useful to people who hope to develop their bird identifying skills, especially for use as group leaders. Binoculars and a field guide -to birds are essential to bring. v The Burrows Woods Conservation Site was selected for this one- morning course because it offers excellent habitat diversity. Md. The purpose of the seminar was to define the role of emergency management in responding to emergencies ami disasters and how they could be coordinated with those who normally respond to disasters such as fire, police, rescue. public works, medical personnel, etc. The seminar had response from many phases of government, including fire, police, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, city, township and county management.
