H NEWSFROM MARIAN CENTRAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN ORIENTATION: Freshman orientation will be held on Monday, August 24. Orientation begins at 8:15 a.m. when Freshmen are asked to assemble in the cafeteria. After a short program, all Freshmen will attend each of their classes on an abbreviated schedule. For this reason, it is im­ portant that each student bring his-her schedule along on this day. At the end of the shortened schedule, physical education uniforms will be sold at the bookstore. Students will have a get- acquainted afternoon on the Marian Central Campus at the annual Student Council- Freshman picnic between noon and 2:00 p.m. Students may be picked up at Marian Central by parents at 2:00 p.m Further picnic details will be sent by the Student Council. NOTE: Each student must provide for transportation needs on these shortened days as buses will not be running until Tuesday, August 25, the first full day of classes for all students.
