Prior to his election in 1972 to the first of five.- terms in the Illinois House, Deuster was ad­ ministrative assistant to U.S. Congressman Robert McClory on Capitol Hill in Washington, D C. for seven years until he was appointed by President Nixon in 1969 as a C Congressional Relations Officer in the U.S. Depart­ ment of Transportation. SEEKS REELECTION Congressman Robert McClory's major reelection fund raiser will be keynoted by Senator Paul Laxalt of Nevada at the Murfdelein Holiday Inn Friday, Oct. 16. This announcement calls attention to the leading role in the Nation's capital oc­ cupied by Senator Laxalt, who is regarded as President Reagan's closest ally in thej United States Congress.
