Fairview, McHenry, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 14, in McHenry hospital. She was born July 14,1908, in the Volo area, to Peter and Anna Diedrich Brown. - - Mrs. Smith lived in the Volo and Johnsburg area all her life. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church, St. Agatha Court No. 777 and the Blessed Virgin Sodality. Survivors are • two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Kalemba of McHenry and Mrs. Carl (Marilyn) Ohlrich of Woodstock; five grand­ children; two sisters, Mrs. John (Lovina) Schaefer and Mrs. Bill (Frances) Klap- perich; and two brothers, Herman and Walter Brown, all of McHenry. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter H. Smith in June, 1968; and a brother Louis. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:30 to 9 p.m. at the George R. J us ten & Son funeral home,, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, officiated by Father Matt Rauen in St. John's church, with in­ terment in the church cemetery. Memorials are requested in his name to the Johnsburg Rescue squad. ' X ' < FRANK WEBER Frank Weber, 3017 W. Charlotte avenue, McHenry, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Crystal Pines Nursing Home, Crystal Lake. He was 83 years old, born in Cin­ cinnati, Ohio Aug. 21,1896, to Gottfried and Louisa Hans Weber. Mr. Weber lived in McHenry about 31 years, having come from Chicago. He was a retired shipping clerk for a book bindery in Chicago. His wife Ellen Talvensaari Weber preceded him in death March 10, 1976. Several nieces and nephews survive.. Funeral services w^re scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Peter M.
