The mystery- comedy will be presented Friday and Saturday, Oct 23 and 24, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. The story concerns Elliot Nash, played by Jeff Cook, who attempts to shield his wife, nlaved by Mary Higgins, from a blackmailer by "bumping him off" However, he soon learns that his deed has been to no avail The complications that follow promise the theatre audience a fuih-filled evening. Tickets for any of the performances may bo purchased at the door Don't Neglect Value of Temporary Repairs Is there any way to bring putty "back to life" after it has been stored for some time? It is much too stiff to use after ii has been stored for a while. Remove the putty from the can and place it in a sturdy freezer bag. Work it vigorously between the hands and it should become pliable. If the putty is still hard, add a few drops of linseed oil and knead one more time. Our home is a combination brick and shingle structure and some of the shingles are split. I cannot afford to replace them right now and would like to make temporary repairs to keep out air and water. Any ideas? Use ordinary tar paper, from inside, slipping it underneath the shingles where it cannot be seen. American Legion Post 491 -- RINGWOOD ROAD.
