I| HELPING PAWS A W A A M I A A A I u / c i F A n r •L A ANIMAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION W P.O. Box 205"Crystol Lake, Illinois 60014 (815)459-2641 byPatti Cane Recently, a person .., mentioned to me that it must be difficult as a Paw " volunteer to maintain my ^ belief in the goodness of man. Certainly it makes one ,., step back and take a breath ,occasionally when cruelty )„ and callousness intended, or .. otherwise, takes place. * But somehow for a bag of puppies thrown along a road, there is another human being who will take the time to stop, untie the bag and gather them up. For a kitten thrown in a bonfire, there is another to soothe its' wounds and for three tiny newborn kittens left alone in an empty place, there is somehow a human being to take the time to bottle feed them. ; We. Helping Paws volunteers never cease to be amazed at the gentleness of the human heart. Won't you Join our ranks?
