William Feather McHenry hign school West campus Drama club will present "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" Friday, Jan. 22, Saturday, Jan. 23, and Sunday, Jan. 24, in the West campus auditorium. The Friday and Saturday per formances will begin at 8 p.m. and the Sunday per formance will begin at 2 p.m. This drama, a recent Tony award winner on Broadway, is the story of a young sculptor who is transformed into a quadraplegic by an automobile accident. The play concerns itself with the highly controversial and contemporary issue of whether this man has the right to decide to continue life dependent upon medical assistance or be removed from the doctor's care to face a certain, natural death. John Badham, director of the M.G.M. film version, has observed, "It's also very funny, it has moments of high drama, and it offers one of the great acting roles." The M.G.M. movie version is soon to be released, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Mary Tyler Moore. Director Badham also stated "On most movie projects, you have to fight to get a superstar. Nearly every top actor in films wanted to do 'Whose Life?' It was an embarrassment of riches." The West campus production will star Doug M a r i s a n d M a r i a n n Mayberry in the title roles. Due to the controversial and adult material, the cast has found this play a unique and interesting challenge. Golden Gleams No one ever regarded the first of January with indifference.
