Y Wfl 5000 V.Rt. 120 McHenry 385-1070 Fund Benefits Four-Year-Old It recently came to the attention of friends and neighbors of Tom and Willie Slugga of Lakeview drive that their little four-year-old daughter Erin is suffering from aplastic anemia. This is a severe form of anemia that attacks the bone marrow that produces new cells. During the holidays, a neighbor had a trust fund started in Erin's name at a McHenry bank to help with all the medical expenses. The family were with Erin at the time in Seattle, Wash., for treatments for her. Now they are home but Erin must go into Children's Memorial in Chicago twice a week for more treatment. Jars were placed in the local stores at Christmas time and the trust fund is still open at the bank. Also needed are blood donors; Erin is type O negative. You can donate blood in Erin's name at the McHenry hospital and they will see that it goes to Children's Memorial for her. The generosity and kind ness of friends and neighbors is deeply appreciated by the Slugga family. BACK TO NORMAL Here it is 1982; I'm back again after the holidays; and hopefully now we are all back to normal. During the holidays we took a few days to visit our daughter and son-in-law and grandsons; the Rosinski family bf Conover, Wis. Their restaurant business keeps them busy and couldn't be with the family for the holidays. Living in the heart of snowmobile country it is a busy time for them. My husband Rich got to try ice-fishing with son-in- law Ralph. Also a big sport up North. HOLIDAY VISITORS The Eichhorns, Kate and Andy, spent Christmas eve with their daughter and her family, the Robert Oglers of Riverside; also their grandchildren and great g r a n d c h i l d r e n f r o m Colorado* and Wyoming. Kate said what a jumping household that was. On Tuesday, Jan. 5 there was a new arrival, another little great-granddaughter Debbie Eichnorn Busch. Still don't have all the details. There are now another grandpa and grandma Eichhorn in Sunnyside. Congratulations to Mary and Jim of 1414 Lakeview, the new grandparents.
