Jan. 13,20 & 27,1962) No. 820009 'V Offers Cardiac Lifeline Program- College Honors: ON DEAN'S LIST The Dean's list for the fall semester of 1981-82 at Saint Mary's college, Winona, Minn., has been released by the office for academic affairs. The list includes 127 full-time students who have attained an academic grade point average of 3.75 or better on a 4.0 scale. Mark W. Hesch, a junior from 1012 Cherry Valley, McHenry, was one of those named. The Lifeline program developed by the Lake Region YMCA Medical Advisory committee is open to post coronary and coronary high risk in­ dividuals. It is led by trained exercise technicians and each person's exercise program is individualized to his medical condition. The program is designed to augment and work with the patient's personal physician and his exercise prescription. Each class will be monitored by a doctor and a qualified nurse and paramedic. Prerequisites for this program include a recent (within 30 days) graded exercise test (12 lead treadmill ECT), an updated medical health history form, recent medical examination, lab test results (resting ECG, blood tests, etc.) and current medication list. Prerequisite forms are now available at the YMCA Courtesy Counter. Classes will be 45 minutes long and will begin Jan. 23 and held Tuesday, Wed­ nesday and Thursday evenings.
