Roberts GEORGE WEEKS George C. Weeks, 65, 3116 Cedar Terrace, fsland Lake, 111. died Monday morning, Jan. 25, at Good Shepherd hospital, Barrington, 111. He was born in California June 11, 1916. Mr. Weeks was a member of the McHenry American Legion. He is survived by his wife Ruby; a daughter Karen Monin of Renton, Wash.; a son Richard of McHenry; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. There will be no visitation and a Memorial service will be conducted by the Reverend Olsen at Nativity Lutheran church, Wonder Lake, 2 p.m. Saturday. The family requests no flowers. Memorial donations may be sent to Richard Weeks, 5114 West street, McHenry, 111. 60050. MERRILL WAGNER Dr. Merrill Wagner, 63, 4514 W. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake, died Monday, Jan. 25, at Memorial hospital for McHenry county, Woodstock. He was born May 13, 1918, in Illinois, the son of Gustav and Clara Wagner. A resident of Wonder Lake over eight years, formerly of La Grange Park, 111., Dr. Wagner graduated from the University of Illinois Medical school in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at St. Ann's hospital, Chicago; was a member of the American, Illinois and McHenry Medical associations; and served with the Medical Corps in the Pacific theater during WW II. Survivors are his wife Rosemary, nee Stoffel, whom he married Oct. 15, 1965, in La Grange Park; a daughter, Mrs. John (Patricia) Hoskin of River Forest, 111.; three sons, George of Pontiac, 111., James and Robert, both at home; and two grand­ children. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lola Mc- Clintock of Elgin, 111. and Mrs. Anona Parson of Bishop, Calif. He was preceded in death by his first, wife, Geraldine, in 1963; both parents; and a brother Stanley. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the George R. J us ten ft Son funeral home, with a blessing offered in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, by the Reverend Tranel of Christ the King Catholic church, Wonder Lake. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials would be ap­ preciated to the McHenry County Heart fund. WALTER SCHELL Walter Schell, 71, 730 E. Cedar street, Pocatello, Idaho, died Saturday, Jan. 23, in St. Anthony's hospital, Pocatello. He was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Chicago, to Walter and Stella (Makowski) Ciesielski. Mr. Schell lived in McHenry 25 years prior to moving to Pocatello three years ago. He had been a pressman 20 years, for Lake County Printing, Waukegan, 111., formerly known as the Dery Printing Co.; and worked at R & W Graphics Co., McHenry. He is survived by his wife Grace (Willuweit); a daughter, Mrs. Lewis (Adrienne) Tucker, An- naheim Hills, Calif.; a son Russell of McHenry; four grandchildren; a brother Jene, and sisters Irene and Amelia Schell, all of Lin- colnwood; and a sister, Mrs. Sophia Zisko of Florida. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, with services in the funeral home Satur­ day at 10:30 a.m. and in­ terment in Woodland cemetery. Bally road, McHenry Shores, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Crystal Pines Nursing home, Crystal Lake. He was born Sept. 16, 1898, in Chicago, to John and Mary (Haharowski) Sass. A 17-year resident of McHenry, formerly of Glen Ellyn, Mr. Sass worked 40 years as a buyer for General Electric, in the Hotpoint division. He was a member of The Church of St. Mary of the Assumption, McHenry. On July 15,1931, in Cicero, 111., he was married to the former Helen Kaptena Reidel, who survivors.
