ROBERT SUNDRY Robert G. Sundby, 609 N. Waters Edge drive, McHenry, died Monday, Feb. 8, at Good Shepherd hospital, Barrington, 111. He was 59 years old, born in Red Wing, Minn. Aug. 8,1922, the son of Axel and Zelma (Benson) Sundby. Mr. Sundby lived in the McHenry area about 23 years, having come from Chicago. He was retired a number of years and had been a radio dispatcher for the taxi cab company in Skokie, 111. Spring Grove road, Johnsburg, died Monday, Feb. 8, at his residence. He was born Sept. 13, 1898, in Illinois, the son of William and Emma (Kroll) Bein. Mr. Bein was a resident of Johnsburg for more than a year and was formerly of Chicago. Employed at Stewart Warner Co. for 47 years as a plater, he had belonged to St. Luke's Evangelical church in Chicago and Zion Lutheran church, McHenry. Survivors are his wife Gladys (Westhouse) whom he married Jan. 8, 1920, in Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Kujawa of McHenry; a son Edwin Bein of Urbana, 111.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother Herman Bein of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Hoppe of Chicago and Mrs. Emma Wicksell of Virginia. He was preceded in death by a son Leroy in 1927; one brother Louis Bein; and PAGE II - PLAINDEALER - WEDNESDAY. FEBRUARY 10.1W2 three sisters, Helen Piepho, Elsie Wind and Louise Dehnel. Buss, 71, 5619 Arbor Villa drive, Cary, 111. died Friday, Feb. 5, in Victory Memorial hospital, Waukegan, 111. He was born Dec. 11, 1910, in Highland Park, 111. the son of Lloyd and Theodora (Nelson) Buss. Mr. Buss was a resident of Cary for the past eight years and had lived in the McHenry area over 20 years and Highland Shores, Wonder Lake, 10 years. A plumber in a defense plant near O'Hare Field, he was also a construction plumber for Ladd Co. of McHenry county and belonged to Transfiguration Catholic church, Wauconda, 111. On Feb. 12, 1928, in Chicago, he married the former Florence Baranski. who survives. Also sur­ viving are nine sons, William Mulhalland, Hanover, 111 ; Robert, Georgia; Leon. Bolingbrook; Bernard, Wonder Lake; Charles, Bridgeview; Gerard, with the Coast Guard in New York; David, Crystal Lake; Dominic, Cary; and Peter, McHenry; six daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Kathleen) Krepel, McHenry, Dolores Buss, Cary; Valeria Bit- terman, McCullom Lake; Mrs. Robert (Carol Jean) Beyer, McHenry; Mrs. Jack (Rosemary) Schaefer, McHenry, and Mrs. Dennis (Harriet) Kozicki, John­ sburg; 59 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren Other survivors are a brother.
