Grand Knight John Bolger tendered a warm welcome to everyone and immediately made them feel at home with his cordial Irish hospitality. Lecturer Earl Walsh acted as master of ceremonies. Despite the warnings and predictions of the weatherman, Easter Sun day, the greatest church holiday of the year, dawned bright and clear with the sun shining brightly throughout the day so that Christianity went forth to greet the Easter dawn in even greater number than customary and worshipped with all the traditional features of the feast that celebrate Christ triumphant in His resurrection. Action on this section will probably be taken prior to completion of the entire code An amendment was passed requiring that a $1,000 bond be posted before permit will be issued to break any pavement, sidewalk or make any opening on city property The purpose is to insure proper back filling and replacement of surfaces.
