Photo by Judie Bakke Busy Meeting Follows Brunch The March General meeting of the United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist church, McHenry, began with an inspiring Com munion Service in the Sanctuary, followed by a delicious brunch in the Fellowship hall. During the business meeting after brunch, correspondence revealed a letter from Lake Bluff Homes for Children; an invitation from Mount Hope U.M.W. to their evening meeting on Thursday, April 1; and a reminder from Church Women United for volunteers to work at the Clothing Closet on the day assigned to the group in May. A number of ladies volunteered. Workers are still needed to help set up the annual Spring Rummage Sale -- also, volunteers to work at the sale April 1, 2 and 3.
