CHRIS BURZYNSKI JAMAICAN HONEYMOON - Mr. and Mrs. Chris Robert Burzynski are residing at 2307 Johnsburg road, McHenry, following their honeymoon in Monlego Bay, Jamaica. The bride, the former Tammy Lynn Paulsen, is the daughter of Isabelle F. Kennebeck, 1103 Morningside drive, Round Lake Beach, III. and Ralph Paulsen, Sr., 2608 Knob Hill road, McHenry. The bridegroom is the son of Betty and Albin Burzynski, 2418 E. Sunset lane, Lindenhurst, III. The couple exchanged promises of marriage Feb. 27, at St. Joseph's church, Round Lake. 111., during a 3 p.m. ceremony officiated by Father Paul McArdle. Three hundred guests toasted the newly weds at a reception held at Borre's in Johnsburg. The bride attended Big Hollow, Johnsburg elementary, St. Joseph s Carmel school for girls, graduating in 1981, and is a secretary for P. B. Plastics Enterprises, Inc., Morton Grove, III. The groom graduated from Antioch high school and works for the same company as an account representative. MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM ZIMMERMAN MARRIED IN MCHENRY - Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, McHenry, was the setting for the March 13 exchange of wedding vows uniting in marriage the former Diane Greenwood and William Zimmerman. Pastor Roger Schneider officiated at the 4 p.m. nuptials. The bride is the daughter of Russell and Beverly Greenwood, 2523 Knob Hill road, McHenry. Mr. Leo Zimmerman, 10304 Lucas road, Woodstock, is the father of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Johnsburg Community club for 125 friends and relatives. After a honeymoon in Wisconsin, the newlyweds are making their home at 356 Lake avenue, Woodstock. The new Mrs. Zimmerman is employed by Jewel Foods and her husband works for Zimmerman Farm Drainage. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John (Marjorie) Connell, Route 1, Box 444, Delavan, Wis., formerly of McHenry. Mrs. George Marzano, 105 N. Washington street, Park Ridge, is the mother of the bridegroom. The 3 p.m. ceremony on April 3, was officiated by Father Petit of St. Patrick's church, McHenry, assisted by the groom's great-uncle, the Reverend C. Marzano, before an altar decorated with floral bouquets. The front pews in the church were marked on the aisle with white bows and a bouquet was placed at the altar of the Blessed Virgin. Organist, Jeanne Ludwig and soloist, Peter Bender performed appropriate musical selections, including "Sunrise-Sunset", "Wedding March", "Wedding Song", Panis Angelicus", "Ave Maria" and "We've Only Just Begun". The bride's gown was of ivory satin, flowing into a long train. The bodice was adorned with a lacc neckline, enhanced with beaded seed pearls, and long sleeves. Her long, ivory veil was fashioned by the groom's sister-in-law, Mary Marzano. To complete the picture, she carried a cascade bouquet of silk white and blue open roses and rose buds, surrounded by bridal stephanotis, ac­ cented with blue baby's breath, foliage, fern and rose leaves. Attending her sister as maid of honor was Cathleen Connell of McHenry. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Chrissy Connell of Delavan; hei* sister-in-law, Taina Connell of Fort Polk, La.; a friend, Kathy Rogers of McHenry; and the groom's sister-in- law, Mary Marzano of Gurnee, 111 ; Another sister of the bride, Maureen Connell * of Delavan, was the junior bridesmaid. The flowed ji&rl*, was a friend of the briars ̂ family,' Jennifer Senn of McHenry. Attendants were attired in floor length, light blue qiana dresses styled with a high neckline and long sleeves of lace. They carried colonial bouquets of silk flowers, including small open blue roses, white and blue or­ chids, and daisies, graced with white baby's breath and edged with lace. A basket of similar flowers was carried by the flowergirl. Handling the duties of best man was the groom's brother, Larry Marzano of Gurnee. Groomsmen were another brother of the groom, Alan Marzano of Park Ridge; friends of the groom, James Tobin of Park Ridge and Terry Memmel of Mt. Prospect, 111.; and a brother of the bride, Rick Connell of Delavan. A friend of the bride's family, Ryan Micklevitz of McHenry, was the ring bearer. Ushers were the bride's brother, John Con­ nell of McHenry and a friend of the groom, Tony Gonia of Wisconsin. The mother of the bride chose a floor length, shocking pink chiffon dress with attached cape and white accessories. A two- piece, light pink dress was the choice of the mother of the groom. They both had corsages of silk pink and white rosebuds and baby's breath. All silk flowers for the happy occasion were hand made by Debbie Disher of Wauconda, 111. Following the nuptials, a reception for 170 guests was held at Alkaya's restaurant, Island Lake, 111. Special guests were the bride's aunt and uncle, Harold and Anita Schweik and family of Mosinee, Wis. Upon their return from a honeymoon in Bermuda, the newlyweds will reside at 4818 West street, McHenry. The new Mrs. Marzano graduated from McHenry Community high school in 1976 and is presently em­ ployed as a secretary for Chroma Corp., McHenry. Her husband, a graduate of Notre Dame high school in 1975, received a degree in Law Enforcement in 1978, from Western Illinois university and currently works for McGinty Bros. Lawn and Tree Care, Long Grove, 111. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Branded Steak House in Crystal Lake. Lutheran church. More than 400 baskets were made by the young Scouts as a service to the community. Brownie Troop 406 gave their creations to Meals on Wheels; Brownie Troop 461 to McHenry hospital; and Troop 190 to Head Start. Barb Martin and her service team made them as the "special" item placed in FISH food baskets. Ms. Rockwood will talk on "Being Single In A Couples Society". The Phoenix group meets the second Wednesday of each month in St. Thomas the Apostle school in Crystal Lake at 7:30 p. m.
