STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD Not rain, cold, wind or snow could stop members of the McHenry Rotary from making a gigantic effort on behalf of the Easter Seal Society for McHenry County to collect $2,252 from McHenry residents during the recent Lily Tag day. Members braved the in clement early spring weather to stand on corners and in front of local businesses to raise money for the disabled and han dicapped of every age throughout McHenry county. Co-chairmen of the event were Jack Slaughter and Dan Curran who dressed as Easter bunnies to get the campaign hopping. Funds will be used to aid oc cupational, speech and physical therapy services conducted at the Easter Seal Therapy center and McHenry county homes, schools and nursing homes. The recent addition of 14 severe and profoundly retarded youngsters to the Easter Seal Day school has also increased the need for funds to provide additional equipment at the center. A non-profit agency, Easter Seal is not a part of United Way and depends on activities such as tag day to raise necessary monies. )urtenances thereu ap- nto FOR PEOPLE WHO LIE TO HEAR OR SM6 TO SOME OU) TME HUSIC- COME TO THE ACROSS FROM VFW SAT. ft SIR 12 mm TO 2 TO RELAX & ENJOY Dated 4-23-82 Clerk of the Circuit Court of McHeni7 County, Illinois (Pub.
