MCCD Volunteers Jean Hervert and Yvonne Henze will conduct the two-mile walk along trails that feature good examples of several glacial features. The origin ^and terminology for these glacial land- forms will be explained along with interpretation of seasonal happenings like newly arriving birds, tree and wildflowers blossoming, and water running downhill. The walk will be at a leisurely pace, starting from the main parking lot of Glacial park, located on its east side and accessible from Harts road. There is no charge or pre-registration for thia special introduction to the scenery of Glacial park.
