The cable network will look at the show's scripts and if they like the storylines, the original cast members will be asked to recreate their roles sometime later this year. "Police Squad," the ABC sitcom thai received rave reviews from TV critics this past spring, but lukewarm receptions from viewers, also may be revived. Para mount-TV has already made plans to distribute a movie version of the series in Europe. At least one cable outlet has expressed interest in the show as a continuing week ly venture. Finally. "Taxi," the Emmy winner that many thought ABC prematurely canceled this past season, may be giv en a second chance this fall. NBC has shown substantial interest in keeping "Taxi's" meter running FUTime STARS -- When ABC signed Farrah Fawcett and lindaay Wagner to new series-movie development deals in February, network execs were hoping that these two would have series on the fall '82 schedule. But the plans were delayed. Miss Wagner is pregnant and Miss Fawcett has only recently approved a series concept that would cast her as an international jet-setter and sleuth. Miss Fawcett* s series should be ready in time for ABC's second season (November-January), while Miss Wagner's fate is contingent upon her motherty duties.
