The bridal gown was fashioned of silk organza and lace, featuring a lace bodice styled with long, tapered sleeves and scoop neck, front and back, with scattered seed pearls and iridescent sequins. The bouffant skirt, which was appliqued with flowers of lace, and embroidered with seed pearls and sequins, flowed into a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of white and burgundy silk roses. Serving as maid of honor was Debbie Freund of McHenry. Bridesmaids were JoAnne Blume of McHenry, Janice Anderson of Skokie, 111. and Joanne Brenneman of Spencerviile, Ohio Attendants were attired in floor length, dusty rose dresses. The bodice was gathered to a large yoke with a small stand-up collar, and decorative buttons ran down the front of the yoke. The sleeves were banded above the elbow and the skirt was gathered at the waist. Handling the duties of best man was Iy>n Cherry of Huntington. Ind. Groomsmen - were Steve Spata of Schaumburg, III., John Matthews of Oregon, Wis. and Jason Warren of Wonder Lake. They wore light gray tuxedos, white shirts and ascots. Her headpiece, created by herself and her mother, formed a wreath of white silk roses and stephanotis. Her chapel length veil was designed to fold into a bustle later in the day. In keeping with the tradition of 'something borrowed* she wore an heirloom gold bracelet belonging to her aunt. Tracie Migatz of West Dundee was the junior bridesmaid. The attendants wore seafoam green gowns featuring a pleated skirt and off the shoulder ruffle. The maid of honor was similarly attired in a deeper shade of green. They all carried Spring bouquets in shades of yellow and pink. The flower girl was Stacie Weidemiller of Bollingbrook. She wore a long dress of white eyelet and carried a bouquet matching the bridesmaids. The best man was Andy Palahniuk of Chicago. The new^ Mrs. Palahniuk, a graduate of McHenry Community high school in 1977, and the College of Lake County in 1980, is a certified dental assistant in Chicago. Her husband graduated from Taft high school, Chicago, is presently a student at Northeastern University of Illinois, and a salesman in Chicago. Bridesmaids were Caryn Hartmann of Wonder Lake, Nanci Lebda of Buffalo Grove, 111. and Lynnette Herter of Elmhurst, III. Attendants were gowned for the occasion in frosted peach, spaghetti strapped dresses of qiana, with lace overlay jackets, faahioned with a Queen Anne neckline and long sleeves. They carried long-stemmed silk roses. The best man was a brother of the bride, Gary A. Vogt of Wonder Lake. Groomsmen were Paul Hyland of Wonder Lake and Lew Miakowicz of Woodstock, both friends of the groom; and Ernest H. Vogt II of Greenbrae, Calif., a cousin of the bride. Heather Biles of Binghamton, N Y. and Jody Buckle of Clarendon Hills, 111. served as usherettes. The mother of the bride chose a beige, crocheted lace, two-piece, street length dress. A blue, street length, jacket dress was the choice of the groom's mother. Following the nuptials, 180 guests enjoyed dinner and muaic for dancing at the Cattleman's restaurant in Algonquin.
