It's a film the entire femHy can eee and share together, and one many peo ple will want to see over and over again Thus "E.T " also should become one of the greet tnancial successes of the year, as a film needs the repeal business to become a certified blockbuster Everything goes right in the film, even though the story is little more then a variation on "a boy and his dog" theme and the formula « as old as movies -- right down to the chase scene at the end The characters (human, that la) are eH finely drawn, and they are played by unknown actors It a easy to Identify with the characters end allow ourselves to be drawn headlong into this most tender tale of sci-fi As for E.T. itself, not since "Star War's" Yoda has an arti ficial creature become so quickly loved.
