Due to the work load of operating the family farm, the Heinrichs have been unable to show cows every year, but they hsve entered cows for several years in the "black-and-white" show for Holsteins and won some Junior champion awards at the county fair. Diane says that just like a "10" among humans, cows are rated according to their body structure and behavior in the Judging ring. In addition to leeding, grooming and otherwise caring for the antanal, preparing a cow for 4mw includes breaking it with a halter and practicing the paces through which it will be put diving Judging. - "That can be a very traumatic ex- areat Cooking and sewing are among the skills she developed as a member of the Junior Wondermaids 4-H Club in Crystal Lake, a At no logger hjfldf rifl* to tht 10-year limit on participation.
