They have a few. Impatiens, coleus, and several flowers that will tolerate a few hours of shade....wax begonias, nicotiana, white flowered salvia, the little blue torenia or wishbone flower, and forget-me-not. Until World War II you could hardly give away shade plants. Then the housing boom came and people began planting shade trees. Prior to 1081, only one All-America award had been for a shade flower, a forget-me-not. Then 'Blitz' Hybrid Impatiens hit paydirt and became a very popular shade plant. If any of you have seen Tarzan or Jane around recently, pass along the word that we need more shade flowers. Maybe Cheetah can help! 12:00-12:45 12:00-12:45 12:00-12:45 12:00-12:20 12:30-12:50 1:00-1:45 1:00-1:45 1:00-1:45 1:00-1:20 1:30-1:50 Gymnastic Dance Worksh Gym Weaving Foot Painting Foot Painting kshop Workshop Gymnastic kuhop Worki Dance Worksh Gym Weaving Foot Painting Foot Painting shop PAGE 2 • PLAINDE ALER - FRIDAY.
