"* n«i W1 ® tk 15 vie for Miss McHenry County Competing for the county crown WOODSTOCK - With the addition of Island Lake to the Miss McHenry County Pageant, a record 15 contestants are com­ peting for the 1982 crown. They will all be in their splendor, com­ peting for beauty, poise and personality, when the pageant kicks off the fair at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Here, in the order of appearance they drew for the night of the pageant, are the contestants: 1. Lisa WaUf -- Miss Union is the daughter of Jane and Derald Wolff. She is 19, has blonde hair and green eyes, and is sponsored by the Union Lioness Gub. Wolff plans to go back and finish beauty school this fall. 2. Cathy Lipinsky -- Miss Harvard is the daughter of Marilyn and Raymond Lipin­ sky. She is 18, has brown hair and eyes, and is sponsored by the Harvard Rotary Club. A student at St. Anthony Hospital Medical Center School of Nursing in Rockford, Lipinsky says, "I like to take part in any activity that involves meeting people.tl have always felt great satisfac­ tion by doing things for others and I would like to devote my life in caring for others." 3. Marie Meyer -- Miss Woodstock is the daughter of Katie and Ronald Meyer. She is 19, has light brown hair and green eyes, and is sponsored by the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Returning this fall to her third year at Augustana College, Rock Island. Meyer says. "My special concern in life right now is becoming a physical therapist. To be a volunteer assistant to a physical therapist is very satisfying as far as my special in­ terests.
