SECOND BIRTHDAY Last Thursday was the big day for little Joey Daurio, son of Mick and Nancy Daurio of our town. That was the day he celebrated his second birthday and following the customary family tradition, he had his picture taken in the morning and then was taken to breakfast to a place of his choice. Later in the day he had a visit from Grandma Dolores White, Nancy's mother, and that evening grandpa and grandma Daurio, with other family members, dropped in to wish him a Happy Birthday and everyone got to try the birthday cake. The theme for his birthday? What else but - PAC MAN. Many more happy birthdays to you Joey. The public is invited to Blake's ope- man performance of ."A Day With President Lincoln", part of a "nation wide tour. While on stage, Blake works without a script and interacts with his audiences by inviting unrehearsed questions. He answers as Lincoln might have in an effort to create the feeling of an 1864 White House press conference. Blake is recognized as today's outstanding Lincoln actor, having starred in nearly 4,000 various portrayals of the great president. He has been cast in a number of films and has appeared as President Lincoln on all three commercial television networks. His performance has been likened to Hal Holbrook's "Mark Twain". Interspersed with the serious moments will be humorous stories about Stephen Douglas, General Grant and others. Earlier in the day Blake will be featured in performances for high school students at both East and West campuses. Admission to the evening per formance is without charge. ^American Viewpoints There is always a best way of doing everything, if it be to boil an tgg.
