(Air dates may vary; please check local listings.) Havipg covered "Truth," "Beauty" and "Goodness" in past hour-long installments, on Monday. Nov. 15, the show features thoughts on the topi^f "Liberty." The subject matter allows Alder to continue his favorite role as inciter of an intellectual riot among non-consenting adults. "There is no definition of the word liberty," Adler states, "The best I can do is to say there are four major forms of freedom or liberty. The first is the freedom which is man's natural endowment... The second is called moral freedom or moral liberty... The third is circumstantial freedom... and the fourth is when I am granted citizenship and suffrage." In the closing weeks the series will focus on Adler's thoughts about "Equality" and "Justice." An international panel of 15 people from the worlds of academia, art, jurisprudence, industry and philosophy are fea tured with Adler and Moyers. In each broadcast, they repre sent opinions from various cultures and examine the subject in relationship to the lives of everyday people. "Six Great Ideas with Mortimer Adler and Bill Moyers" was made possible on by a grant from Atlantic Richfield Company. The series was filmed in Aspen Colo., at the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies.
