STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD Library Forum Open To Public "But Mom, You Just Don't Un derstand", a community library forum, will be presented in the Crystal Lake Public library Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. The forum, open to all in terested adults free of charge, will discuss the pressures felt by parents to understand their children. ' This forum is part of the "Looking Toward 1984" community forums series being held in libraries in the north suburban area during the fall and winter. A total of 115 forums will be presented in 25 libraries. These forums are sponsored by the North Suburban Library System and funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Steal Tools In Break-in McHenry police are investigating a break-in at Guettler's service station, in the 800 block of N. Front street, where an undetermined quantity of tools were stolen. Police said a window was broken at the business establishment. Michael Lawson, of 4815 N. West street, McHenry, called the county police when he discovered that a briefcase containing about $25 in change and a semi-automatic pistol was stolen. During the investigation, information was received that the case had been found on Pearl street in McHenry. The identity of two juveniles who reportedly stole the case was determined and the matter referred to authorities. All the property was recovered. Robert Phillips, of 5306 Barnard Mill road, Ringwood, reported the theft of a stereo uniL^o speakers and a bedspread frogs the residence. Henry JMartin, of 1515 Palomino, McHenry" discovered that two full sets of golf clubs had been stolen from an open garage at the residence. Henry Marks, of 501S.
