Christmas, the greatest holiday of the jfear, will be observed this year as it has ever been in the past, with appropriate services in all of the churches where people gather to worship at God's altar and kneel in adoration before the crib of the Holy child. Every year since that time so long ago when the Christ child lay in a manger in the little town of Bethlehem, worshippers have made prilgrimages to kneel at some holy shrine and gifts have been exchanged. Timely information concerning these books, as well as rationing rules for other goods, may help those who are still in doubt about these points. The basic "A" book contains coupons good for 129 rations to be used at the rate of 16 gallons a month (approximately) 240 miles of driving.
