The bride elect is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret C. Perry of Richmond and the late Ron Perry. Ray and Arlene Guzzardo of McHenry are the parents of the future bridegroom. A Spring, 1983 wedding is planned. YOUNG SINGLE PARENTS Young Single Parents, Woodstock Chapter 112, meets every Wednesday evening upstairs at the Old Cour­ thouse Inn at 8:30 p.m. YSP offers educational and social activities selected to accommodate the special needs of divorced, widowed, separated or single parents between the ages of 21 and 45. On Friday, Jan. 28, there will be a bowling and dancing evening; and on Sunday, Jan. 30, a Family Ski Day is planned The next meeting of the Lakeland Park Women's club has been slated for Thursday, Feb. 10, at 7:30 p.m., at the Lakeland Park Community House, 1717 N. Sunset avenue. Edna Domrese and Adele Arndt will be the hostesses. All ladies in Lakeland Park and Lakeland Shores are Invited and urged to come out and participate in the warm fellowship and good times enjoyed by the members. The JanuaiW meeting of the group was called to order at 7:50 p.m., in the community (house, following a delicious potluck dinner. New member Margaret Seifert was introduced, received a very warm welcome, and was duly initiated. In order to help her become better acquainted with everyone, "Associations" was played. Ruth Roach offered to deliver the January donations of non-perishable items and paper goods to the FISH Pajntry, which is said to be barer now than 'Old Mother Hubbard's Cupboard' as they had 185 families to serve during the holidays and are still constantly receiving calls for assistance. AND MRS. MATTHEW SCHUSTER RESIDE IN WONDER LAKE - Newly married Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Alan Schuster are making their home at 7417 N. Oak street. Wonder Lake, following their exchange of wedding vows Jan. 8. Judge Henry A. Cowlin presided over the 10 a.m. ceremony in the Woodstock Courthouse. The bride is the former Laurita Rae Lance, daughter of Steve L. and Linda M. Simon of Wonder Lake and Raymond and Nancy Lance of Cary, 111. Earl and Phyllis Schuster of Wonder Lake are the parents of the bridegroom. Following the nuptials, a dinner reception was served to 19 members of the immediate family, at The Old Mill Inn, Wonder Lake. The new Mrs. Schuster graduated from Harrison school; McHenry Community high school in 1978; and is employed as a second assistant manager for McDonald's in Crystal Lake. Her husband graduated from the same grade school; is a 1976 graduate of the same high school; and is presently a saw operator for Scot Forge Co., Spring Grove, 111. Luncheon Speaker j Senior Walk Center DIANA KRONING Womens Aglow Fellowship of Crystal Lake-McHenry will host a luncheon Thursday, Feb. 3, at 10:30 a.m., at John Evans Inn, Crystal Lake, and the guest speaker will be Diana Kroning. She and her husband Dean are af­ filiated with Daystar Ministries of Illinois, an inter-denominational Christian community, which strives to restore spiritual life and right relationships in individuals to God and Jesus Christ and also bring people into Christian maturity. Ms. Kroning says she has been blessed with the gifts of inner healing and teaching. Besides being involved in full-time counseling work, she teaches two bible studies a week. The deadline for reservations is Sunday, Jan. 30. Those interested may call Mrs. Dale (Lois) Koss of McHenry or Mrs. James R. (Miki) Hayden of Crystal Lake. Meals are served Monday through Friday at the McHenry Walk-In center beginning at 11:45 a.m. Reservations must be made by 1:30 p.m. the day before at 385-8260. The menu for the week of Jan. 31 through Feb. 4 is as follows: Jan. 31: Baked chicken with sage dressing, whipped potatoes, cole slaw, assorted breads, canned peaches, milk. Feb. 1: Hot dog, macaroni and cheese, broccoli, bran muffins, fruit jello, milk. Feb. 2: Stuffed peppers, mashed potatoes and gravy, tomatoes and green beans, carrot sticks, chocolate pudding, milk, rye bread. Feb. 3: Tuna noodle casserole, buttered peas, beet pickle slices on lettuce, rolls, frosted apple squares, piece of cheese, milk. Feb. 4: Barbecued pork country ribs, baked potato, mixed vegetables, assorted breads, canned pears, milk. | MARRIAGE LICENSES | Applications for marriage licenses were recently made at McHenry County Clerk's office by: Anthony P. Liberty Post No. 188 Liberty Chapter No. 188 of the Polish Legion of American Veterans of McHenry, made a recent visit to North Chicago Veterans Ad­ ministration hospital, where they hosted 25 handicapped and disabled veterans. The evening was spent playing games, with cash awards, followed by refreshments. Each veteran received a gift packet from the ladies of the auxiliary. Volunteers attending were Veteran Administration Volunteer Service chairlady Barb Karaskiewicz, President Evelyn Ficek, Sally Bujak, Barb Bryniarski, and Post Com­ mander Frank Ficek.
