Carolyn Shine, Club Reporter Girl Scouts To Aid Recycling Saturday, Feb. 5, the Girl Scouts of Troop 417, McHenry, will be co- sponsoring with the McHenry County Defenders the regularly scheduled recycling drive. It is conducted in the parking lot of McHenry Market Place, West Route 120, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Girl Scouts, ranging in age from 8 to 12, will be on hand with their parents and Defender members to unload cars, stack paper, sort materials and answer questions about recycling. According to Kathy Morris, leader, and Karla White, co-leader, the troop is planning a summer trip to Springfield. It is their first attempt to raise funds by helping in a recycling drive.
