Mrs. Boehm was also elected to a new office by all of the membership of the District 30 organization - that of North division lieutenant governor. The new position will govern an area that includes six area governors and 42 clubs, covering the geographic area that runs from Woodstock east to Lake Michigan, and the Wisconsin line south to Niles-Arlington Heigh ts- Palatine-Barrington. According to Mrs. Boehm, she looks forward to a very exciting year, one filled-with new educational experiences and many new friends. For further information bn the Toastmasters program, contact Mrs. Boehm at 385-2884. Mrs. Jerry Boehm, president of the McHenry Area Toastmasters club; was honored by the Chicagoland District 30 Toastmasters'at its spring conference held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Mrs. Boehm has served District 20 as the Area One governor for the past year. Area One includes the McHenry Area TM club,. Crystal Lake Toast- masters, Alpine TM club (Lake Zurich), Baxter-Travenol (Round Lake), Daniel Wright TM club (Libertyville), Long Grove TM club (Long Grove), and the Quaker TM club (Barrington). The area , governor provides guidance, training, and other sup­ porting activities for the clubs, as well as coordinating three speech contests and representing the clubs at con­ ferences and within the community.
